Job description


Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Flow Engineer in Horicon, WI.

As a Material Flow Engineer, you will:

  • Support the strategic alignment of material flow processes and strategies within the factory.
  • Lead and facilitate projects of moderate scope supporting material movement, storage and presentation.
  • Train stakeholders on material flow processes and tools.
  • Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Planning to support processes and analysis related to warehouse, transportation, and inter-factory logistics.
  • Support the factory continuous improvement, 5S and visual factory initiatives.


Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industrial Engineering background.
  • Warehouse material flow experience
  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Python and other related data management software.


Education:
  • Preferred bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar engineering field preferred.


Shift: Monday - Friday - 1st Shift
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Horicon, WI 53032
Work Schedule: Onsite

Pay rate: $43/hr. to $48/hr.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
