Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician with prior machinist experience to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your background in machining to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of equipment, ensuring smooth operations throughout the facility. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing machine performance and supporting day-to-day production needs.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Execute work orders and conduct root cause analysis to address equipment issues.
  • Improve and maintain equipment, ensuring uninterrupted production.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis.
  • Communicate equipment status and corrective actions to the next shift and supervisors.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed to support operations.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Previous experience as a machinist is required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, welding, fabricating, gears, transmissions, and belt systems.
  • Experience with CNC machining systems, such as Fanuc and Mazatrol, seals, bearings, and shaft alignment.
  • Electrical skills including ladder diagrams, wiring, motors, and power supplies.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and component repair.
