Position Summary: The Marketing Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics operations related to marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams. The Marketing Logistics Coordinator ensures that all marketing materials are delivered on time, in the right quantities, and to the correct locations, while also managing inventory and supporting the execution of marketing strategies.


Marketing Logistics Coordinator Principle Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the Logistics of marketing campaigns, including the distribution of promotional materials, product samples, and event supplies

2. Work with external vendors, suppliers, and shipping companies to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and products

3. Plan and execute logistics for marketing events, trade shows, and conferences including the shipment of materials and booths or displays

4. Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align logistics operations with overall marketing strategies and objectives


Logistics Oversight:

1. Maintain and manage inventory of marketing materials, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly stored

2. Assist in managing the logistics budget for marketing activities, ensuring that expenses are tracked and within the allocated budget.

3. Monitor and report on the status of marketing logistics operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

4. Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, international shipping and custom standards, and quality standards


Other:

1. Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks

2. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor

Requirements:

Marketing Logistics Coordinator Education Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):

(R) Bachelor's Degree

(P) Master's Degree

Degrees Preferred: Marketing, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field


Marketing Logistics Coordinator Training, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

1. (R) Strong organizational and project management skills

2. (R) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. (R) Proficient in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft office suite (strong Excel skills are a must)

4. (R) Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

5. (P) Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies


Experience/Knowledge in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

1. (R) 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, marketing operations, or a similar role

2. (P) Experience in event planning and execution

3. (P) Knowledge of supply chain management
