Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in civil litigation, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills. As a Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the efficient operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including the compilation of exhibits and trial notebooks.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals in a professional manner.
  • Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in civil litigation.
  • Proficient in legal terminology and procedures.
  • Strong typing and document preparation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
