Pay Range: $82,000-$103,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications

We are looking for a Sr Supervisor for our Innovation Lab in Tacoma, WA.

The Innovation Lab (iLab) Supervisor will be responsible for all manufacturing activities in the iLab. This hands-on position will require the chosen candidate to work with New Product Development Engineers to create new products, assist in the set-up of production equipment, develop manufacturing processes, supervise lab staff, while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-equipped lab.

Responsibilities

Lab Supervisor

• Create and maintain safety first lab processes and procedures
• Order and maintain inventory of consumable items within the lab
• Maintain lab and equipment
• Supervise and train lab associates
• Interact with iLab customers (Dealers, contractors, homeowners, and architects)
• Schedule production & shipment of products

Assist NPD Engineering

• Fabricate and assemble newly designed window and door products
• Participate in the set-up and adjust manufacturing equipment
• Participate in the development of the manufacturing processes
• Witness installation of products on jobsites
• Troubleshoot issues with design, manufacture, and other items throughout the process

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, or commensurate combination of experience & education
• Ability to fabricate and assemble fenestration products
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, and other equipment
• Creative problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years Engineering experience
• 3+ years experience managing/supervising others
• Working knowledge of windows and doors
