Additional Information Substitute Bus Driver(s) Day-to-day Substitute on an on-call as-needed basis PLEASE NOTE: Upon selection for hire candidates will be required to complete Stanwood-Camano Driver Class, complete fingerprinting requirements at their cost, pass drug and alcohol screening and complete all payroll paperwork and identification prior to being hired and called as a substitute. IF SELECTED FOR TRAINING SCHEDULES WILL NEED TO BE RESERVED TO INCLUDE: Orientation Buses, Gauges, Pre-trip Inspections Classroom Instruction Scheduled Behind-the-Wheel Training Testing Bus Drivers are responsible to operate school buses, and other district vehicles, under all types of weather conditions including but not limited to fog, rain, hail, sleet, snow and ice. Transports students and other authorized persons over regular "to and from" routes and on field trips, extra-curricular and special or extra activity trips as authorized by school district officials. Conditions of Employment Are you a citizen or do you have a visa which permits you to work in the United States? Are you willing to submit to a criminal history background check? Are you physically able to perform the duties of the job for which you are applying? IF YOU ARE SELECTED FOR A POSITION in the Stanwood-Camano School District, you will be expected to meet the following requirements as conditions of your employment: Successful WSP and FBI background clearance check; Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release Form(s); I-9 Employment Eligibility (citizen or legal alien status); W04 form; Washington State Department of Retirement Status form; HIV/Bloodborne Pathogen and Hazardous Materials training (provided by District, or verification of prior training); Hepatitus B training (SafeSchools Training provided by District); Social Security Card and Driver's License to be copied by Personnel Office upon hire.
