Job description

Our client, a leading contract manufacturer of electro-mechanical products is seeking a Sr./Electronic Engineer to join their team. As an Electronic Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team supporting product development teams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design circuits and create firmware for embedded processors.
Job Title: Electronic Engineer (Component Design)
Location: Spokane, WA
Pay: $90,000 - $120,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs electronic circuits, components and integrated systems for products that conform to customer specifications and government agency regulations.
  • Builds and debugs prototypes. Provides technical assistance in the construction of product demonstration models.
  • Evaluates and monitors product design, and development to effect cost reduction through design for automation, assembly and component sourcing.
  • Provides technical support in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and in determining methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
  • Interfaces with customer engineers in developing products and product specifications.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or computer science
  • 2-10 years of progressive experience in electronic engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to design circuits and create firmware for embedded processors.
  • Ability to develop and execute design of experiments.
  • Familiarity with the following software: schematic capture packages, spreadsheet, database, and word processing.
