Position Overview:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in our finance team, primarily handling accounts payable, journal entries, and reconciliations. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will ensure our financial operations run smoothly. Experience with payroll and Bamboo HR is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
• Assist with month-end close procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounting processes.
• Assist with audits and compliance as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a non-profit environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting principles.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Bamboo HR is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
