Job description



The Maintenance Tech II performs work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation.

Pay range $24.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Full time 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Bilingual in English and Amharic preferred

A day in the life might include:

planning, scheduling, participating in, and inspecting the work of outside contractors engaged in the operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of buildings and Community

perform preventive maintenance for all equipment and systems

complete work orders efficiently and ensure they are closed on company computer system

make ready vacant units for new residents

respond for urgent and emergency maintenance requests

cleaning of the outside and inside of property

maintaining the safety and security of common areas including community rooms, laundry and trash rooms.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

4+ years of previous experience in apartment maintenance, building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience

Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

experience in using smart devices and property management software

proficient in using hand and power tools

Current & valid Drivers' License and driving record free of major infractions

Availability that includes evenings and some weekends

ability to drive golfcart
