Job description

Commercial Fire Protection is in an accelerated growth phase in a rapidly expanding industry. There's never been a more exciting time to join our team! We have an immediate opening for experienced Non-Union Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team in Seattle, WA.



Responsibilities include: Performing Annual Fire Alarm Inspections, Alarm Monitoring & Burglar Installs, Repairs, Service calls, Troubleshooting, Programming, Retrofits, and New Installs to the prescribed standards. Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.





Skills/Qualifications:




  • Experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire Alarm, Alarm Monitoring and Intrusion Systems.

  • NICET II Certification

  • WASHINGTON Low Voltage EL06 and FA-1 Seattle Certification




  • Verify fire alarm system functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems

  • Establish fire alarm system by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards




  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.

  • Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service, strong organization skills, and positive attitude

  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Possess a valid driver s license and driving record that meets company requirements

  • Pass a pre-employment background check

  • Perform other duties as assigned
