Job Title: Family Law Associate Attorney

About Us: GPAC has partnered with an established Family Law firm. They are dedicated to providing compassionate, effective, and personalized legal services in family law matters. Their team is committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of family law with empathy and expertise. They are currently seeking an experienced and driven Family Law Associate Attorney to join their growing team.

Position Overview: The Family Law Associate Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in various family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent litigation skills, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients in family law cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and options.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal arguments.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and case law.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington Bar and in good standing.
  • 1 years of experience practicing family law.
  • Strong understanding of family law principles and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle complex family law cases.
  • Compassionate and client-focused with strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with high-net-worth divorces or complex custody issues.
  • Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).
  • Membership in relevant family law associations or organizations.
