Signing Bonus Start by October 1st for a $3000 bonus! Bonus will be paid out over the first year in $750 quarterly installments, beginning with the first paycheck.

Wallingford Dental Care is looking to bring on a 3rd hygienist to our practice as one of our hygienists is on maternity leave. Because our practice is growing, we would love to be able to find someone that would stay on in either a permanent full-time or part-time position, if desired, even when she returns from leave. We are a small, patient-centered dental office in the Wallingford neighborhood. We are a close-knit team (currently 1 doctor, front desk, assistant, sterile technician and two hygienists) and a good fit is critical to making this a fun, safe and welcoming environment for both team members and patients. We strive to treat patients like we would our own family members, and enjoy taking the time to educate them with our expertise and technology (intraoral cameras, Itero Digital Scanner). Doctor practices conservative dentistry, refers out most specialty procedures and places a strong emphasis on continuing education, and sits on the committee for the annual PNDC conference in Seattle. What we are looking for:
Registered Dental Hygienist who is a friendly and amicable.
Good communication skills who enjoys co-diagnosing with patients, and educating them on their oral condition.
Someone who takes pride in being thorough, but gentle at the same time.
Eager to learn and be receptive to feedback
Team player who is willing to help as needed to ensure the patient experience flows smoothly.

When:

We are ideally looking for someone who is able to start as soon as possible in September. Our office sees patients on Mondays from 10am to 6pm, and Tuesday-Thursday from 7am-3pm. We typically work straight through without a lunch break, but if you prefer to have a break in the middle of the day, we can accommodate your schedule accordingly.
