Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with an established Seattle Based privately held company in helping them hire an Accounting Supervisor. This position is open due to promotion. The Accounting Supervisor's top priority will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department in multiple locations with a primary focus on people, workflow and quality!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor

Leading an Accounting team of three to five accountants focused primarily on serving a large client with ongoing accounting, accounts payable and tax filing services, plus quarterly reporting and annual financial statement audit coordination. Establishing and maintaining efficient and effective processes, meeting established KPIs and promoting a culture that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, quality and continuous improvement.

• Ensure timely filing of all required tax forms and remittances
• Review and coordinate distribution of quarterly and annual financial statement reports
• Implement and utilize workpaper documentation best practices
• Support the ongoing growth of department associates
• Partner with department leadership to ensure intradepartmental tasks are accomplished

Accounting Supervisor Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with active CPA preferred
• Three + years of CPA firm experience or with a large company. Supervisory or mentorship experience
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Extensive experience with GAAP-based accounting, operational management, tax experience a plus
