Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Manager Non-Tech for a contract position in Redmond, WA
The opportunity will be eight months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc, or any other non-IT-based project.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Coordinators responsible for the following:
  • Resource need consultation and development
  • End to end coordination of resource developmentto achieve programmatic impact
  • Update/create and deploy content for Program projects and initiatives, and other initiatives that drive Program business goals
  • Maintenance and creation of resource locations and pages within teams
  • Maintain and support web resources.
  • Project Management
  • Collaborate with broader team for reporting including creation of evaluations, surveys, and retrospectives for collection of data as appropriate.
  • Follow through from planning to successful delivery, to look-backs and develop reporting for leadership review.
  • Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Support enablement process development
Cross-team collaboration
  • Liaison between Program, field team, marketing team, and other stakeholders to achieve alignment on programmatic and business impact.
  • Monitor and communicate progress on calendar, plans, roadblocks, and mitigation approaches.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years experience required.
  • Years of Experience Required: 4 overall years of experience in marketing, communications, and program management.
  • Degrees or certifications required: no degree is required to be eligible for this role, experience is a MUST
  • SUGGESTED: submit a work sample/design related to internal or external resource marketing
  • Best vs
    Average: The ideal resume would contain marketing and communications experience
    Experiences building resources for a launch - writing, design, and PowerPoint skills
    Experience with content development (slides/flyers etc
    for events and conferences).
  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, quality of work.
  • Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working within a communications and marketing team, especially internal communication
  • Experience planning, writing, editing, and delivering content in a fast-paced environment for a variety of different audiences (US & International), using different communications materials and channels
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver on time.
  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and agile to changing priorities.
  • Relevant experience in project management, field enablement and/or marketing/communications
  • Relevant experience in content creation and management.
  • Partner and stakeholder management.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with communication and writing skills.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with marketing and content creation.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with program management.

Preferred:
  • Experience in communications, marketing or program management updates.
  • Experience managing a company social handle.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Teams, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
