About us

We are a team at Moreno and Young Dental that work well together and would love to add a new team member. We are looking for a hygienist with a upbeat attitude and good work ethics. The hours can be very flexible, the day will be either a Monday or Friday. If this is something you are interested in we would love to hear from you. We do have a bonus system that all employees are rewarded with.

Duties - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions - Conduct patient assessments and record medical history - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software - Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality - Utilize CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations Qualifications - Valid dental hygienist license in state - Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited program - Proficiency in using Dentrix software for patient record management - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation - Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques - Understanding of human anatomy related to oral health - Ability to perform vital signs monitoring during dental procedures - Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Excellent patient assessment skills for identifying oral health issues - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $57.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
