Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Cardiovascular Services, the Cath (Catheterization) Lab Tech will play a crucial role in supporting superior patient care. Beyond the team of Cardiologists, the Cath Lab Tech will also get to work in collaboration with CVRN and CCRN Cardiac Critical Care Nurses, Catheterization Laboratory Technologists, and of course an amazing team of Cath Lab Registered Nurses, offering many opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge.
Joining this busy Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Services unit will offer the Acute Care Cath Lab Tech ample opportunities to contribute to superior patient care, grow skills and experience, and work under a tenured and experienced Manager, who somehow still has a terrific sense of humor. Offering 3 Cath Labs, which work in conjunction with the Certified Trauma Center, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), and Surgical Services department, the ARRT or RCIS Cath Technologist will be exposed to a great range of specialties and expertise.
The Cath Lab Tech will play an important role in supporting and promoting superior patient care for the Interventional Cardiology Lab, executing and implementing quality / safety initiatives, and upholding the medical center's standards of excellence. This person will help gather and interpret data pertaining to patient condition, support efficient procedures, and directly assist the physician.
