Job Title: Senior SAP MM Consultant Responsibilities of the Senior SAP MM Consultant At McLane Advanced Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP MM Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a professional specializing in SAP's Material Management (MM) module. The successful candidate will be responsible for business process and system analysis, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and the testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of components in an enterprise SAP environment. The Senior SAP MM Consultant will: Perform business process and system analysis to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Design and develop solutions within SAP MM modules to meet business needs. Test and troubleshoot SAP MM components to ensure they meet functional requirements. Work closely with architects, developers, technical services (i.e., BASIS, Middleware, Portal), and other business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities. Involved in the maintenance, enhancement, and development work of SAP MM modules and those that interface with other applications. Provide change management and training support for SAP MM implementations. Participate in on-call support to ensure system availability and performance. Configure and customize SAP MM modules to align with business processes. Perform integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between SAP MM and other SAP modules like FIN, IMWM, SD, and BW. Develop and maintain operational and technical documentation of SAP MM processes. Provide user support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP MM. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance functionality and user experience. Stay current with the latest SAP developments and integration technologies to recommend and implement best practices. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management illustrating the effectiveness of SAP MM strategies post-implementation. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to SAP MM implementations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 7 years of experience with SAP, specifically in the MM-Purchasing module. Strong experience with SAP MM processes (Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Invoice, Receipts, Vendor Master). Strong integration knowledge of MM, FIN, IMWM, SD, and BW modules. Strong Army Logistics and Army Contracting experience. Experience with analysis and debugging of SAP MM components. Experience with interfaces using IDocs. Knowledge of DLMS and ANSI X12 standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex scenarios under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders. CompTIA Security+ Certified. Active Secret Security Clearance.
