Job description

ASRC Federal is seeking a proven, experienced, Senior Director BD and Capture Management with Federal GovCon experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) branches and agencies, with specific focus in logistics and sustainment. This Senior Capture position will be responsible to close on our top new business opportunities in the BD pipeline. Work location: Remote with frequent travel to client sites, customer meetings, and/or team meetings (Reston, VA). Ideal candidate located in DC Metro area. Open to outside DC Metro area if candidate is willing to travel up to 50%. Travel required up to 50% if outside DC metro. Key Role: Responsible for the shaping, qualification, strategy and positioning activities leading to the successful capture of large complex Supply Chain Management, logistics and sustainment opportunities across a diverse base of Federal accounts. Candidate will report to the Vice President of Business Development, SC&L Operating Group. Lead development and execution of the win strategy and key messages/themes Support growth strategy which includes expansion into new accounts Support creation and execution of multi-year business development strategies Interface with senior management for internal approvals Interface with customer community to understand needs, desires, hot buttons, concerns, issues, and culture Identify shaping opportunities to influence final RFP to enhance PWin Inform proposal team of customer objectives, solutions, and key messages Lead development of differentiated technical solutions to drive optimal PWIN on complex deals Identify opportunities to leverage partnerships with LB or strategic Primes to drive growth Drive Pricing strategy Drive Teaming strategy and finalize teaming arrangements Obtain and apply an understanding the Competitive landscape and adjust solutions, as needed Analyze the organization's strategic plans and products Conduct win strategy sessions, including development of major themes and proposal strengths Prepare and conduct decision meetings Analyze the DRFP against Win Themes/Discriminators, Refined Technical Management, Cost/Price, Past Performance Baselines Prepare B&P estimates and ROI justifications for assigned captures Lead and manage execution of capture activities to ensure costs, schedules, and performance goals are met Using provided tools and guidelines, classify the win probability, funding probability and bid/performance risks and establish appropriate risk management strategies Interface with industry peers and evaluate/recommend teaming arrangements QUALIFICATIONS: BA or BS from an accredited college or university 12+ Years of experience in Federal Government sector environment with program and project management experience. Experience in logistics and sustainment markets is preferred. 10+ years of relevant Business Development/Capture experience for account management and leading the capture lifecycle with a demonstrated track record of executing proposals exceeding $250 Million Experience with supply chain management, logistics and sustainment markets & solutions is required. Demonstrated background in solution selling, developing new markets, with proven leadership from inception to fruition of a strategic campaign. Must have effective oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry participant networks. Experience developing winning technical solutions that leverage leading-edge technology innovation is preferred. Ability to travel as necessary to meeting job commitments - position requires frequent travel up to 50% Must be a US Citizen Minimum Secret Clearance required Must have an understanding of the FAR processes and experience with multiple agencies within the federal government
