Job description

Agile Decision Sciences (ADS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a DoD Emergency Management Specialist to support a DHA contract. Clearance: US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance Responsibilities: Serve as an Emergency Management Specialist for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Serve as an advisor to DHA Emergency Management Program Management on emergency and disaster preparedness to prevent, protect, mitigate, respond, and recover (P2MR2) from all-hazards threats associated with natural disasters and national security emergencies. Assist with providing guidance and program direction to all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and DHA Network activities in support of DHA Emergency Management (EM) responsibilities. Provide expertise in the analysis, testing, and evaluation of the emergency and evacuation planning, operations, and response of the overall emergency management of MTFs and other DHA-led facilities to ensure protection of personnel, facilities, and systems from a wide variety of hazards such as radiological; nuclear; chemical; biological; explosive; natural phenomenon's, other hostile threats, and utility degradation. Requirements: Knowledge of a wide range of emergency response principles, practices, procedures and regulations applicable to health, safety, security directives, and environmental requirements in all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and DHA Networks and the relationship of these responsibilities to local civil emergency management programs. Knowledge of DHA Emergency Management Program lines of authority, and agency response roles and responsibilities as related to FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) and DOD guidance. Knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues concerning evaluating program operations. Knowledge of OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), DoD Instructions and other agency, missions, objectives, management, functions, as well as capabilities and authorities of organizations to execute EM response operations and preparation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of DHA plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines related to the assigned EM function. Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret level clearance. Ability to successfully pass a DHA background investigation.
