Job description

Sr. Management Analyst Personnel Security This position requires an active Top Secret clearance. Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is seeking a Sr. Management Analyst to support the efforts at the Joint Staff Security Office - Hampton Roads in support of Joint Staff Security Office Operations and Activities. The JSSO-HR supports an operational environment that ranges from unclassified through the TS/SCI level. As a result, JSSO-HR requires a unique blend of highly flexible and multi-skilled personnel to support their mission. We are looking for talented individuals for future ongoing needs to assist the JSSO-HR on their mission. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr. Management Analyst Personnel Security: $45,000 to $55,000 annually. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Sr. Management Analyst Personnel Security Responsibilities Include: Specialists must also have experience in using DoD Foreign Visit System (FVS), submitting, receiving, and processing Visitor Access Requests (VARS) and PERMCERTS. Specialists must have the capability to produce policy documents including instructions, manuals, reports, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), briefing and presentations. Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to personnel security, including access control, background checks, and security clearances. Overseeing the processing of security clearance applications and coordinating with appropriate agencies to ensure timely and accurate completion of clearance investigations. Conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in personnel security processes and recommending measures to mitigate potential risks. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with government regulations, standards, and policies related to personnel security. Providing training and educational programs to staff members on personnel security protocols, practices, and guidelines. Developing and implementing incident response plans for personnel security breaches or violations and coordinating appropriate actions to address and resolve incidents. Maintaining accurate records and databases related to personnel security, generating reports, and providing analytical insights to support decision-making processes. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as human resources, legal, and IT departments, as well as external agencies, to ensure effective integration of personnel security measures across the organization. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field of personnel security. Sr. Management Analyst Personnel Security Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: High School diploma and 3-5 years of personnel security Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities that enable full successful accomplishment of PWS Tasks Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft (MS) Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Office Publisher Must have Visitor Control and Electronic Access Control System (EACS) experience Shall be fluent in the English language and have the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation Possess thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using computer software in their respective jobs/positions Individuals must possess excellent organizational/communications skills and ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels; ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete; and maintain all daily assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition.
