Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class HS&E Specialist willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field. As part of this role a HS&E Specialist is routinely responsible for displaying the ability to set exemplary standards of professionalism, ethics and integrity in all aspects of this role, to support company philosophy and policy, function as a team player, exercise good judgment, and set the overall tone for safety culture. Locally spending most of your time in the field, on a daily basis this role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and productive work environments, and working with all field and management staff to mitigate risk, coordinate critical safety needs and ensure compliance with company, client-specific, federal, state, local, and OSHA regulations. Responsibilities: Maintain open and proactive communication with staff, clients, project managers, and executive management regarding safety matters. Lead and facilitate safety communications programs, including safety committees, toolbox talks, and lunch-and-learns. Develop site-specific safety plans in collaboration with project management teams. Conduct on-site safety audits and risk assessments, identify hazards, and recommend improvements. Respond calmly to unplanned situations, ensuring effective communication with relevant parties. Manage the procurement and logistics of safety equipment across multiple client locations. Participate in coaching and disciplinary actions related to safety as necessary. Assist in gathering information for RFP/RFQ processes. Manage and maintain the team gear database, including locks, harnesses, and PPE. Prepare all safety-related reports and documentation. Stay informed about evolving safety trends, regulations, and legislation. Requirements: 5-7 years of related experience. Knowledgeable in OSHA, safe work practices, PPE, Confined Space, LOTO, hot work, fall protection, lifts, and trenching regulations and compliance. Familiarity with NFPA 70E electrical standards is essential. CPR/First Aid certified; additional certifications (MAWPs, PIT, ASP, OSHA 10/30) are highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet navigation. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to travel 50-75%. Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, or Safety discipline. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
