Responsibilities We are seeking a mission-focused DevSecOps - Deployment Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Springfield, Virginia! Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities Play a key role in facilitating and ensuring widespread user adoption of Analytic Modeling capabilities to support and enhance the analytic mission. Serve as a DevSecOps Deployment Engineer, with hands-on responsibilities for improving developer productivity, managing cloud-native applications, and overseeing container orchestration. Apply expertise in microservice architecture, focusing on the development, deployment, and orchestration of containers. Ensure seamless integration of services through messaging systems while maintaining high standards of security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize DevSecOps practices to enhance workflow efficiency and system performance. Qualifications Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (BS) plus 8+ Years relevant experience. Experience working in a DevSecOps culture and supporting teams for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of containerized applications and automate orchestration using Kubernetes. Experience with helm charts. Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools. Understanding of AWS cloud services. Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Basic understanding of scripting & software development packages for development of Infrastructure as Code. Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent configuration management tools. Experience with container management and troubleshooting. Experience deploying enterprise scale applications to production using cloud-based infrastructure. Should have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions. Ability to automate menial tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
