  • This is a Full Time Year Round Position

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee training programs by developing and improving pre-season training, online modules, and curricula for new hires and rehires.
  • Support the Training Manager in executing training initiatives and establish schedules for new staff.
  • Conduct orientations and training, including on-snow sessions and policy seminars.
  • Assist with onboarding, including interviews and HR paperwork.
  • Create teaching methodologies for the Snowshoe Ski and Snowboard School.
  • Implement quality control programs for lesson products.
  • Match instructors to roles based on skills and personalities.
  • Facilitate ongoing training, performance assessments, and coaching for staff.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and open communication.
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials and maintain communication about performance.
  • Develop training manuals and hold meetings to manage staffing effectively.


Driving:

  • Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program

Preferred Experience:

  • PSIA/AASI Level II (or higher) or comparable
  • 2 years supervising experience
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • 4 years teaching skiing and/or snowboarding


Education:

  • High School or equivalent
