Overview Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Process Analyst This important role will work to ensure that business processes and supporting systems continue to meet business and customer needs. The role will work collaboratively with the business areas, to facilitate existing process changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness. The Business Process Analyst is a hands-on worker who will drive the creation and documentation of current state business process models including human-to-human interaction, human to system interaction and system-to-system interaction. This position will do a significant amount of work with the business to create and/or edit policies and procedures that support the business process. Virginia Housing is one of the nation's premier housing finance agencies. Qualified candidates must possess: BA/BS degree Business Analysis, Business Management, Information Systems or equivalent working experience. Several years' experience as a business process analyst. Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and/or other business modeling tools and business process modeling notation (BPMN), MS SharePoint, MS Outlook. Proficiency in researching best practices/processes compared to industry peers. Experience with defining business outcomes related to business process improvements and establishing future state measures/metrics. Excellent communication skills with experience working across different department/teams. High attention to detail specific to documenting procedural steps and process diagrams. The ideal candidate would have: Experience working in mortgage banking or financial services organization. Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt.
