Description Cybersecurity Information Assurance Engineer (Senior) / ICAM Task Lead This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Information Assurance Engineer (Senior) to serve as the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Task Lead. In this role, you will establish, operate, and oversee the organization's ICAM program to strengthen security posture and improve operational efficiency. You will be responsible for designing and implementing policies, procedures, and technologies that manage digital identities, credentials, and access controls. This role requires in-depth knowledge of modern identity management practices, ensuring that the organization meets both security and regulatory requirements. Cybersecurity Information Assurance Engineer (Senior) / ICAM Task Lead Responsibilities Include: Establish and operate a comprehensive Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program to enhance the organization's security posture and streamline operations.
Design, implement, and manage policies, procedures, and technologies to effectively manage digital identities, credentials, and access controls across systems, applications, and platforms.
Evaluate the existing identity, credential, and access management ecosystem, and determine optimal approaches for modernization, including migration to or integration with enterprise ICAM solutions.
Lead the deployment of a unified identity management framework, ensuring secure and seamless user authentication and authorization processes across the organization.
Implement phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods to improve security and prevent unauthorized access.
Standardize credential issuance, management, and revocation processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements (such as NIST, FISMA, etc.).
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure integration of ICAM technologies across various enterprise systems, including cloud and on-premises environments.
Regularly assess and monitor the effectiveness of ICAM practices, identifying areas for improvement and enhancing the security of identity management solutions.
Ensure the ICAM program meets compliance with relevant federal regulations, industry standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Lead the development of ICAM operational metrics to track and report on program effectiveness, ensuring accountability and transparency to stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ICAM-related inquiries, guiding teams through identity, credentialing, and access management best practices.
Provide subject matter expertise in identity governance and access provisioning, and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in ICAM.

Cybersecurity Information Assurance Engineer (Senior) / ICAM Task Lead Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) or related disciplines.
IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
Proven experience in designing and deploying ICAM solutions, with a strong understanding of identity management, credentialing, and access control technologies.
Expertise in implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other secure authentication methods.
Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity regulations, such as NIST and FISMA, and the ability to align ICAM processes with compliance requirements.
Experience leading the modernization and integration of identity management solutions within large organizations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and lead ICAM initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud-based ICAM solutions and integration with hybrid environments preferred.
Knowledge of identity governance and administration (IGA) tools and best practices preferred.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in digital identity management and access control preferred.
