Business Technologist Program Manager
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Candidate Preference: Local to Richmond, VA, or willing to relocate.
Interview Type: Both Phone and In-Person
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Must-Have Skills:
IT Management: Proven experience managing IT functions such as IT Governance & Compliance, Enterprise & Business Architecture, IT Service Management, Asset Management, Infrastructure & Operations, Application Development, PPM & Projects, or Data & BI Management.
Technical Acumen: Knowledge and skills in relevant technologies and functions required to lead an IT program area effectively.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Project Management: Proven track record in planning, analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing complex IT programs, projects, or systems within a large organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight: Supervise technical staff and programs, coordinating multiple projects and teams of a complex and technical nature.
Communication: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with diverse audiences, including making presentations and conducting meetings.
Stakeholder Management: Interact and collaborate effectively with internal and external customers, developing and implementing work plans.
Policy & Procedure: Interpret and apply IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and organizational efficiency.
Systems Analysis & Design: Perform system analysis and design, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Performance Management: Collect and organize performance metrics data for presentation to management.
Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to IT policy compliance, program maintenance, business process improvement, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Skill in managing IT functions including IT Governance and Compliance, Enterprise & Business Architecture, IT Service Mgmt., Asset Mgmt., Infrastructure and Ops, Application Development, PPM & Projects, or Data and BI Management.
Knowledge and skill with technologies and functions appropriate to leading an IT program area.
Skill in people and resource management.
Skill in leading IT professionals in the planning, analyzing, designing, developing or implementing information technology programs, projects or systems for a large organization.
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
