Job description

Our Client are looking for a Multifamily Superintendent to join their team in Reston, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale construction projects.

We are working with a well known general contractor specializing in mid to large-scale commercial construction projects. Renowned for excellence and dedicated to delivering top-tier results, they undertake a variety of projects, including base buildings, mission-critical facilities, commercial interiors, multifamily developments, and capital improvements. With project values ranging from $1M to $60M, they consistently strive to meet and surpass client expectations.

Description

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and budgets.

Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in Multifamily Construction, with a focus on interiors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage mid to large-scale multifamily projects, preferably with specific experience in interiors.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dedicated to safety and quality.
