About the Role Are you interested in building and maintaining secure web applications on our U.S. government's network? We're hiring a Software Engineer (Python) with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support our customers needs. In this role, you will: Use Python and other scripting languages to build secure web applications.
Design, develop, query and maintain ElasticSearch/AWS OpenSearch.
Write and tune complex queries using both SQL and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch languages.
Apply your excellent knowledge of the AWS ecosystem including Lambdas, SNS, SQS, etc.
Document and communicate technical and non-technical mission requirements for all audiences.
Utilize Linux shell scripting.
Build Docker containers and images.
Apply Cloud services, including Lambda functions and layers, S3, Batch, EC2, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, IAM roles, DynamoDB, and container services. You might thrive in this role if you: Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Have 4+ years of Python experience.
Have 4+ years of experience within the AWS ecosystem.
Experience using both SQL and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch languages.
Experience using AWS Cloud Development Kits (CDK).
Have experience with Git for source control
Demonstrate ability to determine the right tool or technology for the task at hand
Work well in a team environment.
