Experience with AI/ML engineering, from business use case to algorithm selection, training, tuning, inference, and training pipeline design and build. Experience as an architect or software development engineer in cloud computing in a customer-facing role. Experience packaging code and other artifacts for customers and internal teams to leverage. Eligible for US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance. Preferred qualifications: Experience working cross-functionally in a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members. Experience designing and deploying with one or more of the following ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or Spark ML. Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps including automation with IaC (e.g., using Terraform). Experience with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript. Experience with large-scale distributed systems. Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph. About the job As a Cloud Solutions Architect on the Rapid Innovation Team for Google Public Sector, you will partner closely with customers and other Google Cloud Platform (GCP) teams across Google Public Sector and Google Cloud to craft the development of prototypes to architect and demonstrate the art of the possible with customers via the GCP platform. You will be responsible for taking the experiments developed and translating them into consumable, repeatable, yet scalable, packages that can be taken to market by the Google Public Sector Go-To-Market team. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Lead customer-facing solutions workshops to gather requirements that ultimately deliver back to the customer a complete roadmap of a plan of record for the customer to follow; as part of the motion, scope out a use case to prototype to prove to the customer that what they are seeking can be done on Google Cloud Platform. Scope and develop full-stack prototypes leveraging the GCP portfolio that solve a wide-ranging set of problems that are delivered in 6 weeks or less. Institutionalize agile methodologies in the delivery of the full-stack prototypes partnering closely with the aligned Technical Program Manager. Develop architectures that include cross-platform technologies to be incorporated into business strategies and subscription agreements; take a mission-oriented approach using the guiding principles of simplicity, repeatability, and consumability.
