Responsibilities Responsibilities: Develop and enhance APIs, caches, and databases to support business use cases and front end development of both browser and mobile applications. Implement software and cache/database changes and bug fixes following security and resiliency best practices. Follow source code management best practices to ensure appropriate repository management, versioning, and feature release tagging. Document and maintain the design of the application backend through architecture diagrams and database designs. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field At least 4 years of Python, FastAPI experience At least 4 years of RDBMS experience At least 2 years of experience working with the deployment and management of cloud-based applications Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment Proven experience successfully deploying applications to the Google Play and Apple App Stores Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Desired Qualifications: Experience working with AWS: EKS, EC2, ELB, Lambda, VPC, ECR, RDS, KMS, ElastiCache, Secrets Manager, and IAM Experience with postgreSQL and data lifecycle management tooling such as dbt or equivalent Experience with CI/CD pipelines including GitLab Pipelines, AWS CodeCommit.
