Job Type Full-time Description Primary Location: Quantico, VA Must be a U.S Citizen Security Clearance: Secret Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is currently seeking a Systems Engineer responsible for strategizing, designing, and assessing computer network systems and services, encompassing local area networks, wide area networks, intranets, and the Internet. This role involves providing analytical, technical, and administrative support, as well as overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of network policies and procedures to ensure network integrity and support modification projects for existing applications. The mission of the MSTP is to train and educate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements to conduct operations across a broad spectrum of military scenarios, within the framework of Joint, Combined, or Coalition environments. Specific Responsibilities: Manage client operating system imaging process.
Operate, manage, and maintain SCCM.
Operate, manage, and maintain VMware suits.
Manage and track assets throughout the building.
Manage and maintain Microsoft Active directory.
Requirements IAT Level II Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.
Proficiency with system logging and backups (SPLUNK).
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Windows Server Update Services; Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); Host Based Security System; and IBM BigFix. Experience in Windows Servers, Linux Red Hat Servers environments (virtual and bare metal)
Desired Skills/Qualifications Mid-Level - bachelor's degree or equivalent w/ 3+ Years Direct Relevant Experience Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects. Occasional lifting of heavy equipment may be required. Flexible work hours may be necessary to perform maintenance and respond to emergencies.
