Job description

Job Title: Network Engineer (Mid-Level) Job Overview: As a pivotal member of our network engineering team, you will be instrumental in the engineering, operation, and maintenance of our data communications networks. Your role will involve a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in a range of networking domains. Your contribution will be crucial in ensuring robust and efficient networking solutions for our organization. Key Responsibilities: Engineering and supporting video teleconferencing equipment and Voice over IP systems.
Engineering and supporting Cisco and Linux-based router platforms, including Cisco Firepower and Cisco ISE.
Configuring and supporting Cisco Access Control System (ACS), Cisco Call Manager, and Cisco Meeting Server.
Planning and overseeing the installation of communication circuits.
Managing and monitoring local area networks (LANs) and associated equipment such as routers, switches, and gateways.
Assisting in the integration of service delivery for LANs, Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), and Wide Area Networks (WANs), including planning, design, installation, maintenance, and management.
Identifying and resolving network issues across various infrastructures.
Aiding in the technical and architectural changes to customer LANs/MANs/WANs.
Developing detailed network design diagrams and documentation.
Recommending technical solutions and innovations to management.
Position Qualifications/Experience: Two to three (2-3) years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including design and retrofitting.
Proficiency in DNA Center and SD-WAN technologies.
Expertise in Cisco Linux, Cisco routers, and IPSEC implementations.
Familiarity with high latency networks using satellite and cellular broadband transport.
Demonstrated experience in OSPF/BGP routing protocols.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification highly desired.
