MAXISIQ is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer with a strong background in Windows server environments, Active Directory, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and scripting to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Quantico, Virginia supporting work anticipated to start in October upon award.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Windows server infrastructure and Active Directory environment
Implement and support multi-factor authentication solutions across the organization
Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks
Troubleshoot complex system and network issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems
Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
Assist in documenting IT processes and maintaining system documentation
Qualifications
Required Skills: Active Top Secret clearance minimum
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in systems engineering or IT administration
Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
Experience implementing and managing MFA solutions
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration
Experience with MFA technologies (e.g., Azure AD MFA, Duo, RSA SecurID)
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Strong problem-solving and analytical skillDesired Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles
Familiarity with ITIL practices
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator)
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
