Summary E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Solutions Architect to be a full-time employee in Quantico, VA to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team. Job Description We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect with Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience who is excited about solving national security related data problems. This role will serve to develop and oversee the comprehensive cloud migration strategy, ensuring a seamless transition of on-premises systems to cloud-based platforms. Responsibilities include assessing existing infrastructure, defining cloud solutions that meet business needs, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment, and managing the execution of migration plans to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. Leverage Amazon Web Services to architect scalable application and data infrastructure. Work on a cross-functional team delivering real value to their national security customers every day. Oversee cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, migration, management, and monitoring of cloud systems.
Design DevSecOps best practices to define development and deployment architecture.
Design Identity & Access Management (IAM) best practices for systems.
Define container-based solution architecture.
Define the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for a suite of infrastructure and application solutions.
Ability to design infrastructure architecture based on multi-tenancy requirements. Work closely with application software engineering and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution to the cloud. Develop strong stakeholder relationships so that business vision and requirements are addressed correctly. Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements, make appropriate design adjustments, and provide level of effort and cost estimates to support project management. Qualification Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines
10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
Required Skills 3+ years' experience working with AWS infrastructure. 5+ years' experience supporting Linux/Unix systems in an enterprise production environment. 5+ years of Linux experience of RedHat, CentOS, Scientific Linux, or similar Linux/Unix systems 5+ years of experience with system administrative scripting. (bash, Python, etc.) Experience implementing security best practices in production environments. Support mission-focused infrastructure to ensure performance and availability of system and environment. Experience with Cloud infrastructure setup. Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions.
Ability to teach and mentor others.
Experience with Atlassian suite of tools is a plus.
Experience with Agile and SAFe Methodologies is a plus.
Strong understanding of cloud security
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and networking
