Clearance Type: Secret AERMOR is hiring skilled Cybersecurity Analysts with experience in security testing and evaluation, vulnerability analysis, firewall policy management, VRAM (Vulnerability Risk and Assessment Management), INFOSEC, and DoD A&A (Department of Defense Assessment and Authorization). Responsibilities: Conduct security tests and evaluations to assess the integrity of systems, applications, and network infrastructure. Develop, implement, and manage firewall policies to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Generate an assessment framework and methods for continued improvements of IA documentation, policy, and procedures and IA requirements for defending Naval Networking Environment (NNE) architectures. Maintaining all day-to-day VRAM activities. Entering the system baseline configuration in VRAM by uploading vulnerability scan of a representative baseline system. Manage the A&A process in compliance with Department of Defense standards, to include but not limited to preparation of security documentation. Expert level support in the mission critical procedures, systems, and processes, as they pertain to Information Technology and Cyber Security requirements. Qualifications: • Experience in certifying and accrediting DON information systems and networks.
• In depth experience with the following- security testing and evaluation, vulnerability analysis, firewall policy management, VRAM (Vulnerability Risk and Assessment Management), and INFOSEC. • CompTIA Security+ (preferred). • Experience with the requirements outlined in OPNAVINST N9210.3 Safeguarding Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (preferred). • Expert and Mastery levels with institutional knowledge and a minimum of 5 years' experience, on the mission critical procedures, systems, and processes, as they pertain to Information Technology and Cyber Security requirements. • Experience with: CS / INFOSEC concepts and requirements. DOD A&A process and standards. System / network vulnerability analysis. Risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis. Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E). Contingency planning. Firewall Policy. Ports & Protocols. • Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline AND at least 4 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in the following: Cyber Security / A&A analysis support in Information Assurance controls analysis, conducting risk assessments, risk mitigation analysis, or developing contingency plans.
