As a Signals Intelligence Systems Analyst, you will Perform the role of remote on-site subject matter expert for a US Navy tailored IP network data analysis suite
Act as the APL program liaison to the US Navy submarine community
Perform mission focused data analysis, risk quantification, and mitigation development for the submarine community
Perform technical system sustainment, tailoring and tuning
Support software and hardware installations for emerging and evolving technologies
Provide training and operational support to uniformed Navy personnel
Collaborate with program leadership and development teams to assess the impact that proposed hardware, software, and algorithm changes will have on collection systems operations
Propose user interface updates that enhance the capability of collection systems as a whole
Develop tailored alerting capabilities for emerging risks
Support task planning activities by creating workflows for briefing collaborators, executing training, and rolling out capabilities
Work alongside US Navy users to observe use cases and explain software features and collection products
Work with APL operations and maintenance leads to maintain awareness of troubleshooting needs or observed anomalies Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you Have expertise in TCP/IP communications and mission centric data analysis for the US Navy Submarine Community
Have experience working with submarine network systems, applications, protocols, and supporting technologies
Have experience developing and delivering training for operational hardware or software systems
Have experience working in Linux operating systems and IP data collection systems and applications
Are comfortable and effective in communicating with DoD leadership and peers
In Support Of (ISO) mission requirements, there is anticipated to be both CONUS and OCONUS travel. The frequency is driven by Sponsor direction. Hold an active Top Secret security clearance and can ultimately acquire a TS/SCI level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Science
Have direct experience working with the US Navy submarine community in an operational capacity
Have demonstrated ability in a technical position, with experience leading a small simulation, software development, or data analysis task
Have demonstrated knowledge and application of machine learning or statistical analysis techniques
Have Python programming experience
Have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with government sponsors
