Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Hybrid System Software Analyst who will support a government contract located in Merrifield, VA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Analyst specializing in mobile delivery devices to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and optimizing software solutions for mobile delivery systems, ensuring seamless functionality, performance, and user experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with product teams, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust software solutions for mobile delivery platforms.

Responsibilities for the System Software Analyst:

• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and define requirements for mobile delivery devices, ensuring clear and actionable specifications.

• Software Design & Development Support: Work alongside software engineers to design and optimize mobile applications and systems for delivery devices, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and meet business needs.

• System Integration & Testing: Analyze and recommend best practices for integrating mobile delivery systems with backend platforms, ensuring smooth data synchronization and real-time updates.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of mobile delivery software, troubleshooting issues related to connectivity, GPS accuracy, and battery usage to improve overall device efficiency.

• User Experience (UX) Focus: Ensure the mobile delivery solution delivers a seamless and user-friendly experience for delivery drivers, focusing on intuitive design, ease of use, and minimizing operational errors.

• Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution: Act as a liaison between development teams and end users to identify, document, and resolve software bugs and technical issues in mobile delivery systems.

• Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain thorough documentation on software features, system configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines, ensuring team members and stakeholders are well-informed.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, mobile delivery technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance mobile software solutions and drive innovation.

Qualifications for the System Software Analyst:

Network experience, general knowledge of routers, switches, and wireless access points

Hardware experience, familiar with routers, switches, experience with mobile computers is a plus

Basic programming skills

Proficient in excel, good data analysis skills

Completed understanding and wide application knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Ability to analyze, enhance, install, test and modify enterprise-wide operating systems for both new and existing systems

Develops requirements, workflow and systems analysis

Compensation for the System Software Analyst:

$115,000 - $120,000 Depending on Experience.
