Janus Soft Inc. is seeking to fill Software Engineer (SME) for our customer in McLean, VA. Janus Soft Inc., offer a range of software and networking solutions both on premises and on the cloud. Our primary focus is to minimize cost for our customers without compromising the quality of our solution no matter how complex problems we have in hand. We are striving towards providing Serverless frameworks on the cloud. One of our clients in Mclean, VA. needs a Software Engineer (SME) for a contract position. • Position: Software Engineer (SME) • Location: Mclean, VA • Position Type: Contract position • Clearance: TS/SCI w FSP Job Description: Software Engineer (SME) Mandatory Skills: • Demonstrated experience with developing Angular user interfaces. • Demonstrated experience with developing applications using program languages, including Java, and Java using Spring and Python. • Demonstrated experience using Java Script Object Notion (JSON) for Application Program Interface (API) development. • Demonstrated experience with Front-end web development with Angular 2 or above. • Demonstrated experience with software development languages such as TypeScript and JavaScipt. • Demonstrated experience with software development Mark Up Languages such as XML, JSON, CSS, and HTML. • Demonstrated experience with Relational databases. • Demonstrated experience with developing and consuming REST web services and integrating them with a SQL backend, such as Oracle. • Demonstrated experience with Version control systems such as Git. • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining redundant applications hosted in Linux or Unix using Apache server. • Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA. • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; ability to anticipate and manage changes or problems; assess impacts and recommend sound solutions. • Demonstrated experience with authentication and authorization process.
Optional Skills • Demonstrated experience with Sponsor networks, systems and services. • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's authentication and authorization process. • Demonstrated experience delivering solutions with AWS cloud services. • Demonstrated experience with Oracle Databases • Demonstrated experience with Full stack environment. • Demonstrated experience building automation tools (such as Gradle, Maven) • Demonstrated experience with the development of system prototypes and proof of concept to demonstrate proper application of design principles. • Demonstrated experience with RESTful interfaces. • Demonstrated experience with Apache Tomcat • Demonstrated experience with Continuous integration systems (Jenkins) • Demonstrated experience upgrading and refining existing production applications (working with legacy code) • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise level production systems
AWS Certification or other similar certifications.
