ServiceNow Administrator

Location: Mclean, VA / Remote adhere to EST

Duration: 7 months with Possible Extension

Description:

Responsibilities:

Utilize ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using SAM to accurately maintain and update the hardware and software inventory of thousands of laptops.

Utilize ServiceNow s SAM Pro module to collect, sort, analyze and document software inventories across 10,000+ end point devices to normalize software assets

Ability to work in a team environment to coordinate efforts to achieve team goals

Critical thinking and strong data analytical skills needed to properly assess software normalization

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Change Management, and Patch

Management modules

Strong Microsoft Excel and/or SQL experience

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree or military experience

Experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or similar role is a plus

ServiceNow SAM Professional Fundamentals Certification or equivalent experience

Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools

Team Info:

Software Asset Management space

Reconciling all the different software detection, 25 different communications like Zoom

Normalization of all the data sets

Identifying the Normalization Problem in a space

Role Info:

Hands on ServiceNow Administrator role with strong ServiceNow Admin, configuration management, documentation & excellent communication background

Appropriate normalization

Collaborate with other teams on the appropriate decisioning

Interacting with records that are coming from the environment

Works on the normalization targets and smaller datasets

Top Skills:

1-2 Yrs exp is a must

ServiceNow Administration exp is a must

Spreadsheet's exp (Gsheets/Excel) exp is a must

SQL exp / knowledge is a must

Software Asset management exp / knowledge is a must

Nice to have:

Ex Client is a plus

Soft Skills:

Demonstration of investigative skills
