Stratacent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAS Grid Architect with deep expertise in OpenShift Container Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SAS solutions within a containerized environment to support the organization's analytical and data processing needs. This role requires a strong background in SAS architecture, cloud technologies, container orchestration, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

Architecture and Design:

Design scalable, high-performance SAS environments using OpenShift Container Platform.

Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, design documents, and best practices for SAS deployment on OpenShift.

Ensure integration of SAS solutions with existing enterprise systems and data sources.

Implementation and Deployment:

Implement SAS applications and solutions within the OpenShift Container Platform.

Develop container images for SAS applications, ensuring optimal configuration and security.

Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration tools.

Management and Optimization:

Monitor and manage the performance, scalability, and reliability of SAS environments.

Optimize resource usage and ensure efficient operation of SAS workloads on OpenShift.

Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades of SAS software and containerized environments.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate SAS solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on SAS and OpenShift best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAS applications and container orchestration.

Security and Compliance:

Implement security best practices for SAS environments, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits of the SAS infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience working with SAS technologies.

In-depth knowledge of SAS architecture, SAS Grid, and SAS Viya.

Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.

Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible).

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).

SAS certification (e.g., SAS Certified Professional).

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift.

Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
