We provide Subject Matter Experts (SME) free of Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) focused on independent analysis and mission support services within the disciplines of Engineering, Counter Terrorism Operations, Management, Information Technology, Signals Analysis, Administration, Cyber Security and Linguistics. FTS has opportunities for Mechanical Engineers. Mechanical Engineers provide project management expertise to manage major recapitalization and building renovation projects. Responsibilities Review engineering drawings for any changes to Government's facilities Oversee and coordinate operations, maintenance, repair, engineering, and inspections of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing equipment, and mechanical rooms Oversee and coordinate activities with the trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment Oversee and coordinate mechanical work orders, service orders, and projects Develop cost estimates, documents, and reports Coordinate energy program and analyze utility costs Be prepared to serve as 'essential' personnel in the event of an emergency Required Skills/Qualifications TS/SCI with Polygraph BS degree 5+ years of relevant experience Minimum of 3 years of Subject matter expertise in: Project management Specification writing and shop drawing review Cost estimating Operating and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems Experience in: Using AutoCAD Managing major building renovations and recapitalization projects Conducting reviews of engineering drawings Working in a classified environment Proven record as an effective administrator with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels Ability to: Coordinate architecture, engineering, real estate, construction, and space planning efforts with all customers Coordinate operations, maintenance, repair, and inspections for all equipment and mechanical rooms Coordinate work orders and recapitalization projects s with trade shops Work nights and weekends, as required, for operational necessities Travel domestically or overseas for the Government, as required Highly motivated to continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal training and on-the-job experience Desired Skills/Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) Project Management Professional (PMP) FTS International, LLC is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.
