Molding Manager

WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:

• Oversee injection molding operations.

• Oversee and administer plant safety program.

• Oversee production training and development programs.

• Lead, support and develop supervisors and team leaders on three shifts.

• Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.

• Assist with maintaining safety learning management system and safety training records.

• Recommend revisions, improvements, and updates to safety and operations training.

• Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.

• Inspect safety equipment; recommend replacements.

• Develop, prepare, and implement safety documents, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.

• Ensure completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting documents.

• Partner with technical processing manager to improve efficiency in operations.

• Assist with the maintenance of internal safety standards and policies.

• Lead accident and incident investigations.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Strength in developing subordinates.

• Ability to delegate effectively.

• Injection molding management experience a plus.

• Experience managing a diverse, multilingual workforce.

• An OSHA 30 Card or equivalent experience is a plus.

• Experience in communicating with employees and management to identify issues, provide solutions, and meet deadlines.

• Experience providing safety and operations training in a production environment.

• Knowledge of Alchemy Training LMS a plus.

• Lean Management experience a plus.

• Problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills.

• Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent attention to detail.
