Overview:
The Fabrication Facility Spec is responsible for supporting ongoing shop activities and needs including facility assets and equipment and interacting with fabrication shop supervision and personnel on a daily basis. This position is an experienced Fabrication Facility Specialist role reporting to the Plant/Fabrication Manager.

Responsibilities:
Emergency Response Coordination: Coordinate training for Emergency Response Teams (ERTs) in collaboration with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department, management, and local authorities as applicable. Ensure that all CBI facilities are well-prepared for emergency situations.

Asset Management: Track all facility-related assets, including buildings, civil and mechanical infrastructure, furniture, equipment, and other capitalized facility items. Implement efficient asset management practices to maximize resource utilization.

Facilities Asset Inventory: Maintain and update the Facilities Asset Inventory Log, keeping accurate records of all assets, their condition, and maintenance schedules.

Record Management: Take responsibility for the proper storage and retention of CB&I records, ensuring compliance with document retention policies and regulations as per CMS.

Resource Provision: Provide the offices, warehouse and shops with the necessary resources to support the organization's daily operations, including fabrication or other related office works. Ensure that resources are readily available for efficient workflow.

Project Prioritization: Prioritize work tasks, balancing the completion of project requests for TES (Technical and Engineering Support) with performing maintenance on facilities, tools and equipment in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.

Qualifications:
Typically 4-5 years since first degree or equivalent experience

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role within an industrial or fabrication setting.

Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and protocols.

Proficiency in English language is must.

Organizational skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate resources is crucial for a facilities supervisor. They should be adept at planning and executing maintenance projects, managing work orders, and ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and operational.

Problem-solving abilities: Facilities supervisors must be skilled at identifying and resolving issues related to building maintenance and operations. This involves troubleshooting problems, implementing effective solutions, and making informed decisions to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Communication skills: Effective communication is essential for a facilities supervisor to interact with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders. They should be able to clearly convey instructions, provide feedback, and address concerns in a professional and collaborative manner.

Safety and compliance knowledge: A facilities supervisor should have a strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in order to gain exceptional communication and presentation skill, both written and verbal.

Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level
