A week in the life of anAEGIS SPY Radar Trainer: Provide dynamic teaching, training and assessment up to the officer level. Review and analyze U.S. Navy Aegis Combat System Engineering Capabilities and Limitations and U.S. Navy Operational and Tactical doctrine Integrate and conceptualizes the execution of Doctrine . Conduct dynamic assessment of the sailors' abilities. Observe and assess contemporaries during Practice and Certification Teaches per requirements NAVEDTRA 130 series. Prepare, review, and customize curriculum lesson plans and instructor guide. Support Course Reviews and Curriculum Updates. Conduct training gap analysis. Document the training conducted with specifics of the individual areas / watch station. Generate formal assessment of measure of success. Establishe and review course content and objectives. Conduct training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Job Requirements High School Diploma Secret Clearance Travel may be required up to 10% of time including ship embarkment for 5-10 days. At least six (6) years of experience: As either a maintenance technician supervisor or operator supervisor with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task At least one (1) year of experience: As an instructor in a Navy Training Environment Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
