Technical Lead - Hybrid Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None CACI is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team! You will provide support on a team that provides a full spectrum of important IT-focused, software lifecycle support, including DevOps, applied technology investigations, operations and maintenance, and infrastructure lifecycle support services across the customer's mission space. The program is also focusing on a complete transition from CACI's HighVIEW 4.x COTS baseline to HighVIEW 5.x. This position involves leading a mixed staff of 10 remote and 6 on-site professionals providing software development, incident management, system performance, and system enhancement using Agile principles to create software modules and work products using Angular development that meet customer's business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the technical aspects of the project, to include directing and coordinating the activities of software and system engineering professionals to meet the quality and schedule requirements for the on-going support, operation, and maintenance of the existing HighVIEW 4 FOIA case management solution and upgrade to the new HighVIEW 5 solution operated in an on-premise cloud environment. You will lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality; the deployment and testing of software; and reporting of progress, performance, and quality issues to internal and customer stakeholders. You will make pro-active recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management. You will also mentor members of the team in their professional development, and ensure they have a clear understanding of the requirements and project goals. This is a hybrid position, allowing work from both the customer site and remote from home. Duties include but are not limited to: Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality; the deployment and testing of software; and reporting of progress, performance, and quality issues to internal and customer stakeholders. Perform expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of user reported system issues. Design, develop, and implement software and database in an Angular application with limited oversight Use JIRA to review, assign, and track issues, and to review updates on progress, and documentation of resolutions. Lead proactive efforts to identify potential underlying issues impacting system function and performance. Lead root-cause analysis for all major system issues; leads team in developing solutions. Guide and direct technical team members across the software development life cycle as well as the Operations and Maintenance of the system. Lead the analysis, validation, refinement, and documentation of business requirements as stated in user stories. Lead the planning and execution sprints for delivering incremental functionality and corrective fixes to the system. Oversee the efforts of other members of the team creating, documenting, and validating test cases. Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by assessing business process and system inefficiencies. Plan, direct, and coordinate Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps activities to bring value and impact to the customer Analyze computer and information needs of an organization from an operational and strategic perspective and determine immediate and long-range personnel and equipment requirements Develop long-term strategic objectives to ensure user requirements will be satisfied in future years Perform horizontal system integration planning and interface with other functional areas, ensuring technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner Serve as point of contract for non-routine to moderately complex installation projects for communication networks Work closely with the Program and Project Managers on the performance criteria and due dates during service delivery, and successful overall project completion Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 10+ years of related work experience These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Experience with developing replacement systems and meeting user expectations and implied requirements Experience with HighView Experience with PL/SQL Experience with WCF RESTful Web Services (c# .NET) or equivalent REST technologies What we can offer you: At CACI, our philosophy of employee development and advancement rests on a cultural foundation of providing unlimited and equal opportunity for growth, recognition, and rewards. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
