Civilian Health Solutions and The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has a need for a Senior Trainer to support our customers' mission in advancing biomedical research and protecting public health. Candidate MUST: Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Be located in the United States for the current three consecutive years. Work is remote, must be performed in the United States with the ability to work Eastern time zone hours. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare training materials for weekly customer Office Hour sessions. This includes slide creation, preparing demo materials, writing training scripts, and researching the topic in-depth.
Create and edit shortform and longform training videos that can be distributed to customer. Videos include special effects, custom graphics, closed captions, and overall polishing.
Create training materials for Agile scrum teams, and provide support needed to facilitate trainings.
Prepare annual strategic training roadmap, which covers tools listed in the Tech Catalog, plus customer projects and other training needs identified by leadership.
Contribute to a team of IT Professionals as a team player making suggestions for improvements of processes within training environment.
Comprehend and translate training trends and best practices to ensure training programs are engaging and effective for the audience.
Contribute to policy, course, and communications development in an agile environment.
Assists with overseeing the entire process of delivering innovative, effective, and relevant training
Employs time management skills in a remote environment
Leverage a combination of technical expertise, instructional design skills, and the ability to engage and communicate with subject matter experts, team members, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework.
Ability to transfer content into engaging and compelling material for the end-user.
Serves as a subject matter expert in a training environment.
Incorporates Adult Learning Methodology and Principles into all training development
Conducts routine reviews and revisions based on learner evaluations, surveys, and feedback
Incorporates and understands how TLOs and ELOs (Student Learning Outcomes) must be used when focusing on new course development and revision of courses.
Identifies the needs of new and existing training and communications via task analysis and needs assessments. Basic Qualifications Typically requires a BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+years of prior relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience working with various types of LMS and video software
Experience in a classroom or training environment and have basic IT knowledge.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Good eye to detail and an understanding of how to incorporate the customer Branding assets not only for compliance purposes, but also aesthetic purposes as well, while maintaining the integrity of the Brand.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives.
Working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio; web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google, Chrome; and electronic mail (email).
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take initiative.
Team player with the ability to lead in a diverse, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications Strong computer software skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new software/enterprise tools.
Adept at using specific tools and software to perform the job.

Pay Range: Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
