Job Description As a Resource Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are done in accordance with established authorities and that each transaction is legal and proper in support of the mission! What You Will Be Doing : Allowing Senior Management to make analytical and operational decisions based on current valid financial data. Monitoring the execution of Operating Year budget, ensuring that office resources are consistent with CFO and Directorate guidance for commitments, obligations, and expense rates. Reviewing trend data for all prior and current year office funding on a daily basis and identifying deficits, shortfalls, and other anomalies in the budget that require attention. Presenting reprogramming recommendations to senior budget officer and processing reprogramming upon concurrence and providing execution reports to senior resource managers. Working closely with colleagues (Plans officers, Support officers, and Directorate officers) to ensure mission success. Creating, monitoring, and analyzing assigned Department spend plans by collaborating with Department chiefs, group chiefs, and Plans Officers. Updating Spend Plans to reflect changes to assets, operations, and programs and current obligations and expenses. Regularly briefing the status of the budget to the Departments.
