TITLE: Contract Administrator LEVEL: Mid-level LOCATION: Herndon, VA CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Secret Clearance EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, Onsite TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 15%-25% travel required POSITION SUMMARY EWA Government Systems, Inc. (GSI) is seeking a mid-level government Contract Administrator to oversee, cradle-to-grave, administration and management of a multimillion-dollar Navy IDIQ contract. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): Responsible for the administering and management of FFPs, T&Ms and CPFF Task Orders
Responsible for the administration of other agreements, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Proprietary Information Agreements, Teaming Agreement, Memorandums of Understanding, Subcontracts/Purchase Orders and Subcontract/Purchase Order Consent Packages.
Responsible for negotiating complex Statements of Work, price, and contractual provisions.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field.
6 years of experience in government contracting administration.
Proficient in Deltek Costpoint.
Proficient in MS Office Suite of Products, (with emphasis on Excel).
Adept in conducting proposal preparation, including pricing narratives for government Request for Proposals under limited supervision. Proficiency in FAR and DFARS provisions.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined procedures.
Excellent writing and communication skills. Must be willing to travel 15%-25% to meet customer needs.
