Job description
The Swift Group is looking for an Application Architect that will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex user interfaces, software applications, and databases. The candidate will be responsible for translating formal user requirements into comprehensive end-to-end designs, ensuring seamless integration across multiple interfaces and supporting database systems. The work will involve writing and testing code, developing application layouts and user interfaces, and conducting unit and functional testing. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with designing and maintaining interactive web databases and web services, creating graphics and user interfaces, and transitioning data from legacy systems to new database structures. The Architect's expertise will guide the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex applications and databases, ensuring high-quality deliverables and enhancing application performance. A strong background in Java or Javascript will be essential for this role. This position is in Herndon, VA. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in application architecture or a related field. Strong programming experience with Java or JavaScript. Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces, software applications, and databases. Strong ability to develop formal user requirements and translate them into end-to-end application and database designs. Proficiency in writing interfaces to other applications or databases. Extensive experience in unit and functional testing. Skilled in designing and developing application layouts, user interfaces, and interactive web databases. Experience in designing, coding, and debugging web applications. Ability to design graphics and user interfaces. Competence in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex applications and database structures. Experience in transitioning data from legacy systems and applications to new structures. Ability to write code, track, and resolve programming bugs. H.S Diploma US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience with modern development frameworks and technologies. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Proficiency in graphic design tools and software. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications and databases. Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00 Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening.
