Job description
Overview Software Developer Location: National Capital Region Clearance: TS/SCI The Software Developer is responsible multistage software builds that support both an unclassified build stage, followed by a separate classified build stage, when required to produce a final artifact for the Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) of Government Owned Software (SW). Responsibilities Responsible for performing monodirectional data transfers of all software releases made under this contract (including but not limited to source code, binary artifacts, documentation, etc) from lower classified networks (e.g., NIPR) to higher classified networks (e.g., NSANet). Responsible for maintaining a copy of all software releases (including but not limited to source code, binary artifacts, documentation, etc) made under this contract within existing repositories on classified networks including at a minimum NSANet. Responsible for receiving bug reports, feature requests, and other user feedback over classified networks including at a minimum NSANet (e.g., through a Distribution List), responding to those requests, and managing those requests as tickets on the appropriately classified network Responsible for maintaining an installed instance of the latest software release on an NSANet connected computer with attached Software Defined Radio (SDR) hardware and that allows remote user access. Support the integration of the DSP software into target program hardware and OS environments classified up to TS/SCI (e.g., TLS BCT, TLS EAB, etc.). Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering/Techical discipline with 5 years experience and at least 1 year of experience mentoring junior developers Certifications: Security+ CE and SSCP Experience with C, C#, C++, SQL, or Java Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GIT Familiarity with deploying software at the TS/SCI level to NSA Network (NSANet). Familiar with NSANet approved tools for system configuration and management (e.g., SIMP, Puppet, Ansible, and CS2 Scripts). Have experience with third-party Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) software (e.g., Salvage and WSTL).
